Runtime
The included 12v battery built into the case runs the Starlink for 12+ hours on a single charge.
Recharge from a wall outlet with the AC charger, or power the terminal from a 12V adapter in your vehicle on the road.
Two Ways to Use It
Inside the Case. Set the box down with a clear view of the sky, switch it on, and you are online at camp. The case works perfectly fine closed, so you can shut the lid and leave it running in any weather.
On the Dashboard. Place the dish on your dashboard and plug the included 12V adapter into your vehicle to stay online on the drive.
Starlink Rental Questions
Does the rental include the Starlink?
Yes. Every rental comes with a Starlink Mini kit and service, along with the box, battery, AC charger and 12V adapter. You do not need your own Starlink account.
How much data do I get on a rental?
10 GB per rental day, or 70 GB on a week rental. That covers maps, messaging, email, video calls and light video streaming. Data beyond your allowance is billed at $3 per GB when you return the kit. If you expect to need more, unlimited data is available for an added fee when you arrange it before your rental. Ask us for a price.
Where do I pick up and return the rental?
Pickup and return are near Salt Lake City International Airport. We can work with you for an easy pickup/dropoff in the Salt Lake City area.
Can I use it while driving?
The box is designed for it: remove the dish from the box and drop it on your dashboard, power it from the battery or the included 12v cigarette lighter adapter while you drive.
How long does the battery last?
12+ hours of Starlink runtime on a full charge. Recharge from a wall outlet with the included AC charger, or power the terminal from your vehicle with the 12v cigarette lighter adapter while you drive.
Will it work in the canyons and the desert?
Starlink needs a clear view of the sky. Open desert and ridgelines work very well. Tight slot canyons and dense tree cover can block the signal, so pick a campsite with open sky above.

We are not an authorized Starlink reseller and do not sell Starlink hardware. When you order a box, the Starlink service plan is your own account with Starlink.
